Ely & District Cycling Club

Saturday club rides meet at Witchford Village College.  The Easy Pace Group (14-16mph average) leaves at 9am and the Moderate Pace Group (16-18mph average) leaves at 9.10am, Espresso Ride (Drop Ride)  leaves at 9.10am

Saturday rides are usually 30-45 miles, and all rides include a cafe stop.

As from Sunday we are reintroducing a Sunday Group Ride 

With effect from Sunday November 20th, EDCC Sunday rides will start again.

Sunday rides will start and end at the Paradise Centre, Newnham St, Ely CB7 4PY and the start time is 8.30am. The ride will be around 60 miles in length and will take around 3 hours.  The route will be posted on the Friday before each ride. Unlike the Saturday club rides there will not be a coffee stop and it will be a drop ride, so you must be prepared to make your own way back in the event you get dropped by the group. 

Route for Sunday rides will not be posted on this site or on Facebook.  Details of the route for each Sunday can be found on the WhatsApp group "EDCC Sunday Ride".

Anyone taking part in a club ride will be expected to have read and comply with the club ride etiquette.

Junior riders are permitted on club rides, but must have Parental Consent & ideally be accompanied by a Parent or a designated Adult. They must also be capable of completing the distance & maintaining the pace of the ride.
